Astrea-C

Avionics

Electronics suite developed in-house to allow for precise determination of status attitude and positional data, with a live downlink to a ground station for real-time tracking.

Recovery

System of parachutes that control the descent to ensure a soft and controlled landing after each flight, enabling rapid reusability.

Propulsion

High power M-class solid propellant rocket motor, capable of developing over 190 kgf of thrust during lift-off.
projects

2020-2021

This current season we aim to establish ourselves as one of the leading university teams in Spain. To do so, our primary goal is to launch a rocket to an altitude of 4 km, more than triple the current Spanish record.

2020-2021

The project entails groundbreaking developments in several areas. We have designed and simulated conformal antenna arrays that were to be implemented on a functionalized composite fuselage, first of a kind from a student team in Europe, and most likely the world's first too.
