Mission Analysis

About the team

The Mission Analysis team is responsible for the preliminary design and aerodynamic optimization of the rocket with proprietary and commercial tools such as ANSYS Fluent, as well as the study of the trajectory with ASTOS from the design phase to launch day. Both static and dynamic stability analysis are also carried out with customized aerodynamic models and Montecarlo simulations to study the flight under different launch conditions and use it to estimate the apogee and landing points. In addition, it is responsible for the development of internal software for the design, optimization and flight simulation of rockets with aerodynamic and dynamic models with 6 degrees of freedom.

Highlight Projects

EUROC

The Mission Analysis team is in charge o the initial design and aerodynamic refinement for Euroc. They also study the rocket's trajectory to predict the apogee and landing points through both static and dynamic stability analyses, evaluating the rocket's performance under various launch conditions. 

STARDUST

An internally under development advanced software designed for the comprehensive design, optimization, and flight simulation of rockets. This software incorporates aerodynamic and dynamic models, allowing for simulations with six degrees of freedom. 

This means we can accurately simulate the rocket's movements in all possible directions and rotations, providing a highly detailed and precise analysis of its behavior under various conditions.
